Direct Support Technician
Job Type: Part-time
Responsibilities
- Implement goal-directed and task-oriented interventions
- Assist, support and instruct individuals in self-help skills designed to encourage independence
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living
- Provide transportation and accompany the individual to non-medical services
- Provide documentation of care provided, activities performed for each goal area using the daily contact log
- Able to manage behaviors
- Able to help with toileting
Experience
- At least one year of experience with individuals with disabilities, or
- One hundred hours of volunteer experience working with individuals with disabilities
Education
- High School Diploma/GED
- College Degree
(Foreign Education Credentials MUST BE EVALUATED to U.S. EQUIVALENCY)
- Certifications and Licenses (optional, but a plus) e.g. First Aid, CPR, Med. Tech, etc.
Other requirements
- A clear background check (Federal & State) for Childcare within the last 365 Days
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- 3 Professional/Job References
- Bilingual (a plus)

TITLE: Software Architect
DUTIES: Design, develop, modify, upgrade and support application and database software from legacy programs in MYSQL/PHP to MS SQL Server or Oracle, C#, MS Access \ VBA (Visual Basic Applications), Crystal Reports, and other software tools for Medicaid funded agency. Design software solutions utilizing MVC (Model View Controller) design pattern to optimize operational efficiency. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with, manage, or coordinate sub-contractors to develop and deliver software based on specifications and performance requirements. May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Minimum Requirements: Must have Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics) and two- years related SW Development experience (using PHP in MYSQL Environment and using MVC (Model View Controller) and Object-oriented Design pattern (such as Visual Basic.net or C#) in either MS SQL Server or oracle environments). Background Check (FBI, State, & OIG) required upon hire. No travel required. Telecommuting permitted (Must be able to attend frequent in-person meetings at Employer offices). Jobsite: Lanham, Maryland.
